The Sparkling Diamond

This is Nicole Kidman in 'Moulin Rouge!' as Satine - I absolutely adored this movie, not only was it a joy to the senses it completely breathed a whole new life into the rather disappointing and directionless 'Musical Film' genre. It was so strange a film, it's unclassifiable. I could cry everytime I see it, it's just beautiful.

This is an image I have been meaning to finish for some time now...I have been sort of uninspired for a while and it was during this period I started to re-work on her and finally today, I finished her off. I really am pleased with how she turned out now, as I got some encouragement over the net from Asti. I put Satine through a few filters as well tonight to see how she fared, and so expect over time this image to change somewhat as I get more confident in Photoshop. I have some ideas that are cooking
